I have worked bilingual program students in grades one, two, four and five. Two years of this was with fifth graders in a dual language program in which I team taught with a “regular education” teacher. Bilingual program students were learning English as their target language and the other students were learning Spanish as their second language.
When I came to District 131, I worked with a first and second grade split classroom, first grade, second grade and as a bilingual Reading resource teacher.
For the past four years, I have worked as the Assistant Principal at Brady Elementary.
This year I will be working as the Assistant Principal at O’Donnell Elementary.
I have enjoyed and been blessed by the many teaching and administrative experiences here in the East Aurora School District. The dedication exhibited by the staff members of this district is phenomenal. It is such a thrill and pleasure for me to see my students walk across that stage at East High on graduation day!
In the spring of 2008, I served as Interim Principal at Krug Elementary.
